The Cock & Bottle

Where do I start. I had a few hours in Skipton and chose this establishment to eat(soooo glad i did!) Upon walking in, you're met with low ceilings and what seemed original decor, such a vibe. Theres not many of these gems left. Now the food WOW!! I must say its up there in the top 3 of burgers I've ever had! If im being critical could've done with more fries and the gravy being a little thicker(thats personal preference) The meal itself,presented very well, perfectly cooked burger and coating, plenty of side salad. I want to go back and try all the burgers if thats the standard. Even the latte i had after was superb and made in a very cute little cup. I must give a mention to the staff, very welcoming and attentive 👏🏻 Looking forward to going back.

This is a lovely pub serving excellent food! The dishes were 2 for £30 (weekdays) and well worth it. Service was excellent and waiting time for the meals was really reasonable. (Also decorated up for Halloween, which was extra atmospheric!)

Came in for dinner last night and the burgers were amazing!! All patties homemade and delicious. Really generous portions and reasonably priced. Waitress that looked after us was really friendly, smiley and helpful. Wish we'd got her name but thank you!!

First time visitors on Saturday afternoon. The place was busy but the superb staff found us a table straight away. The best burger menu I have seen and the peppery pig and surf and turf burger were both exceptional. The Ilkley pale beer was spot on. The young ladies serving us were superb and even brought water for our spaniel. Can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back.
