I was so happy when the former Keelham Farm Shop on the outskirts of Skipton re-opened in March this year as Robertshaws and that it's just as good as the original - we have missed this great and popular farm shop so much. There's a fantastic selection of quality fresh fruit and veg displayed loosely in wooden crates with no plastic bags or wrapping with plenty of paper bags provided for customers to store their purchases. The shop has a fresh meat butcher counter, delicatessen counter, bakery counter selling the stores own baked goods from their off-site bakery, fantastic flower cart, a larder store with a large range of quality food & drinks from local producers and suppliers, a gift section and a cafe. We always enjoy shopping at Robertshaws where we pay a bit more than at the large supermarket chains in town, however, the quality of the fresh foods, fruit & veg is so much better and definately worth paying the slightly higher premium
Book a table for 9.30am. Breakfast did not disappoint. Tasty and delicious and great quality ingredients. Plenty of staff all in position for a busy day ahead. Runs smoothly. Bonus when the toilets are spotlessly clean. Moved into the shop area after breakfast. Great produce and will be definitely be returning.

What a shame. This farm is supposed to sell natural, fresh, and healthy products — but when you actually take the time to read the labels, it’s a completely different story. I was shocked to see that about 98% of the food contains vegetable oil: the chicken, the beef, the pork, everything. And to make it worse, even the bacon contains sugar - seriously? I used to shop here, trusting that their products were truly natural and high quality. But once I started reading the ingredients, I stopped coming altogether. It’s extremely disappointing that a place claiming to be “natural” or “farm-fresh” relies so heavily on such unhealthy and unnecessary ingredients. We all know by now how harmful processed vegetable oils are for our health, and adding sugar to something as simple as bacon just shows how disconnected they are from real food quality. It’s a real shame, because the concept of the farm is great - but until they change the way they produce and prepare their food, I won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. What a pity.
Great shop with great selection of fresh and quality produce. On our first visit we got pininis, a bacon sandwich and donuts which were delicious. We ate outside the shop as we were on our way to a nearby campsite. I was surprised there wasn’t a bin for us to put our rubbish in outside the shop (something I’d have expected). Anyway, I’m sure we’ll become regulars during our local stay. So many things in there I’d like to try!
