We drove up from London to spend the weekend in Yorkshire Dales and happened upon this hidden gem — it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted properly authentic. The momos reminded me of those I’d had years ago in Nepal and Darjeeling, and the mutton bhutuwa was packed with flavour. Portions were huge — a real bargain for the price. The restaurant is small, seating around 20 people, and has a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff were genuinely friendly, happy to help with recommendations, and checked in regularly. We loved it here and will definitely be back before we head back home.

We really enjoyed visiting the Mount Everest Gurkha Restaurant. We first had chicken momo and you get 10 pieces which is very good for the price the momo achar was really nice with momo very tasty. Then we all had chicken Thali set which was delicious also. The food here is like typical Nepali food as long as you order from Nepali side. Would definitely recommend visiting and if you are looking for for true Nepali cuisine then this is the place. Before leaving I had Nepali Chiya which was really nice. Staff are very friendly and professional. Even though we did not eat to much from menu I would recommend so many items as they are true Nepali cuisine. We hope too visit again in the future when we are up this way as we are on holiday going around. Out of all the Nepali restaurant s we have been to this is one of the true Nepali restaurants that sell true Nepali authentic cuisine. Really reminds me of food when we go back to Nepal 🇳🇵

Amazing authentic Nepalese food. Loved the chilli momo, jhal momo and many other authentic dishes. Very good service in a small restaurant run by locals.

Fantastic little gem. Momos (especially the chilli momo) were absolutely mouthwatering. The mains (mutton curry, pokhareli curry and korma) all flavourful and delicious. All dishes very reasonably priced. Extremely friendly and inviting staff made our visit extra special. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon! 5/5

Fantastic restaurant, so glad we ate here. There are no frills about this place, but it feels very authentic inside. I've been to some Nepalese restaurants in the past and found their menus to be similar to Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants, but this place is different. If you want to try something new and delicious, at very reasonable prices, look no further. I'll definitely be back, and it will be difficult for me not to order the exact same dishes.
