Stopped by Fish and Chips at 149 in Cattrick I order the pork sausage with chips small order- and it was a great choice! The place was nice and clean, and the staff were super helpful. One of the staff members was particularly helpful with helping me with the kiosk, explaining the wording and options for my order. The pork sausage was very good, and the small chips were generous - they looked like large portions! The onion rings were a bit different from what I'm used to, but still tasty. The chip seasoning was a nice touch, although the price tag of £2.99 was a bit steep. Overall, I'd definitely go back and try more from their menu. The staff and food quality were top-notch, and I'm curious to see what else they have to offer!
Was busy but order was taken quickly by a polite young lady then a fair wait for food to be cooked. Ordered 2 cod with small chips, curry sauce, mushy peas and scraps for take away. Served up at mums, loads of chips but really disappointed in the size of the cod, very thin with a light batter that was crispy but to my taste. The cod were a bit chewy at the ends and not nice sadly. The chips looked good however didn't taste that good. No choice on the size of portion for the mushy peas or curry sauce which were nice. No salt and vinegar on and I wasn't asked on ordering or when food was being made up if I wanted salt and vinegar, maybe I should have asked for it, plenty at home to put on. Overall for the price paid the food was disappointing especially the cod.
Was looking for a fish and chip shop whilst on holiday in the area. Went for dinner before the cinema, it was a lovely atmosphere with light music on in the background. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was great also. A lovely place for something to eat. Would 100% recommend, would definitely return if in the area.
We were staying at the premier inn and pooped over to the chip shop food dinner. Service was quick and the food arrived quickly too. All of the food was good, particularly the gluten free fish, which was fresh, crispy and nicely battered. It's rare to find gf fish at all, let alone this good, so a nice surprise.
Come here nearly every lunch time for my lunch, the food is nice, portion size is good and reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic and always polite especially Jordan and Elisia they are both a credit to your team
