Called in with my young Grandson on a Saturday night, we were lucky enough to catch them before they close at 7.30pm. I was immediately impressed with the fact that the food is cooked upon order (ensuring freshness). We ordered our food of fish and chips for me and sausage and chips for my Grandson, both with extra batter (scraps). The fish shop is clean with an extensive menu and the food we ordered was really nice and reasonably priced. One of the best things about our visit was the friendliness of the two female staff, both were chatty and very helpful. Fish and chips are no longer the cheap option for food they used to be so I think it is paramount you get value for your money... and this place does just that. If you are in the area or live locally, I would definitely recommend you give this place a try and see what you think. Thank you.

Waiting for your fish to be freshly cooked is a big plus for me. Nothing beats the taste of freshly fried fish. Staff were very friendly, and I learned quite a bit about the fish I was about to enjoy. The fish and chips are cooked in beef dripping. It doesn't get more authentic than that. We really enjoyed our fish and chips and will return. Yes, it's only fish and chips, but the care that goes into their preparation comes out in the taste of the finished product. Very tasty.

I had white pudding, chips and Irish curry from here last week. It was fantastic and I'll be sure to make this my regular chip shop

Service was great the two girls on the counter were lovely very polite and friendly. However the Β£10 munch box we ordered was the complete opposite. Not sure what type of fish was used in the bites but it was very dark yellow almost brown. We didn't trust it. I didn't think there was such a thing a crap chips but apparently there is. Sausages were average and the onion rings I think were from pound land. On the other hand it was only a tenner so I won't complain too much lol. Ya get what ya pay for I suppose.....
