Came here to see the Easby Abbey - which is well worth a drive and a visit. We knew parking is very limited, but tried our luck. But it was completely packed. Cars parked roadside as well, absolutely no room for any other car. And another waiting in the carpark to get lucky. We wanted to take turns to go visit the Abbey then. But gave it another few minutes. And indeed...after 15-20 minutes two cars left at the same time. Lucky for us and the other car that was waiting. The spaces here are big enough, but best to park in backwards, so going out will be easier, since the carpark is on the smaller side and there's not much space for maneuvers. There's an honesty box for the parking fee. And it's on the lower side, so honesty is really appreciated.
Enough spaces for about 12 cars. I came on 12/04/25 on a lovely day and one last space at the time of 10.30am. Has an honest box- a £1 for half day/£2 for full day. A fair price. Car park next to Easby Abbey. Can park in car park if not in use by the church.
Lovely park. Park. It is quite small so if intending on parking here to walk in to Richmond get there early. The ruins and church are great and there is restored wall art in the church itself.
Good car parking for visit the ruins of Easby Abbey. Parking is free. The car park is small you may not find a parking space
Very historic, and on the Easby Abbey walk to Richmond
