Hi, I just completed 10 months of improvers swimming lessons, which were absolutely amazing for my development, a special thank you to all the staff, especially Helen on reception who was always very helpful. Also Glenda from the cleaning staff for keeping the changing area very tidy and clean. And I'd also like to thank Celine who did an amazing job of improving all my swimming techniques. Brilliant thanks again.
The leisure centre is no longer run by Nuffield it's now run by 3D Leisure Ltd. Yes I had never heard of them either. This has meant that there is new equipment in the gym but at the cost of a higher membership than I paid last year The staff are all the same and as always helpful, friendly and just plain good. Still worth going to, although with the increased competition around for health facilities the price needs to be world on, or at least have the ability to cancel annual membership like you can with monthly. Even with a short notice period.
No signs in the car park to say they’ll lock the gate. Saturday 5pm locked my car in after swimming and quickly getting dinner with my 2 year old. Nice one
Good place for different sports activities. I play badminton there.
I visit this leisure centre at least twice a week, try for 3 but you know how it is. The staff are always very polite and its always clean and tidy. If you need advice in the gym it's FREE, amazing! Just task they will help you out. Plus after your workout there is a fantastic 7 screen Empire Cinema just next door which is also really friendly... perfect!
