Not everywhere can one imbibe an Indian Railway potato curry whilst listening to "I Am The Resurrection". I'd recommend asking for it a bit spicier than the average. (The curry, not the Stone Roses). Excellent service and vivid place mats (see photo). Fully recommend this place for it's authentic railway juice authority.
Fantastic quality food, the menu is a bit on the small side but enough choice. The bombay keema lamb curry is delicious, although not served in the authentic Indian way with peas. Service is great and staff are very friendly and polite. Have returned multiple times because of the quality of the food. Worth trying if you like quality Indian cuisine. Only down side is theres little choice on the dessert menu but think this is work in progress. Update: Desserts have now been added to the menu.
We had dinner at The Cats Pajamas in Chapel Allerton last night. Exceptional service and food, the atmosphere was nice too, friendly and warm. Within 2 minutes of being sat down, we received our drinks and popadoms, we shared a sizzling starter with onion bhaji's and the staff recommended a curry which wasn't on the menu after we had asked for some advice. Highly recommend.
Highly recommend this restaurant. We’ve been here a few times and both the food and service are always great. I recommend ordering the peshwari naan and the railway curry! Very delicious Indian meal in Leeds.
What a fantastic place! We ate here on one of our regular curry club outings. The food here is excellent! The flavours are great and portion sizes generous. We had: Poppadoms and chutney tray Plain and peshwari naan Punjabi lamb Hyderabadi chicken curry Railway potato curry Vegetable rice All dishes were great and we’ll definitely be coming back.
