I’ve rented for octopus for 7 years, I’m only moving due to needing a bungalow. They have been brilliant, reliable professional and caring landlords! I recommend them 100%

We used Octopus during a transition to Leeds whilst we were waiting to move into our new house. Octopus were excellent from the beginning, very flexible and attentive to our needs, which was handy with moving dates etc. The flat we rented was super convenient, really handy to get into town. Jess was lovely to deal with and the flat was also kept spotless by the cleaning team, which was much appreciated since we have a small toddler! I would thoroughly recommend using Octopus if you need a short or slightly longer term let.

I have been with Octopus for over 15 years now, and they have always been accessible, polite, and done what they said they would. They have given me really good advice over the years about rental and sales of my properties. I have sold a couple with their advice, and retained a couple, again with their advice, taking into consideration, the yields, market value, and mortgage situation at the time. My properties have been tenanted fully year-on-year right through that period, and I could not recommend it more highly to serious, ethical landlords. Octopus staff were very friendly and approachable, and also really easy to contact (which is something you definitely want in a letting agent!) We are able to be shown around the property twice before we made our decision to rent it which was really accommodating of the agency. When we moved in, there were a few things that needed fixing which they sorted out immediately and without any headache. Communications were clear and dealing with them was an overall a decent experience - I would used them again!
