This company is truly awful. I ordered a pair of trousers in October last year, with no option but to pay upfront. After several attempts to chase my order and dealing with some questionable communication, I discovered the operations were run out of a small shop in the north of England. I spoke to an elderly gentleman who assured me he would expedite my order, which was already three months late at that point. In May, I finally received a FedEx package – I was thrilled! However, that excitement quickly turned into disbelief. Instead of the beige trousers I had ordered, I was sent a pair in electric blue! I called the gentleman again to explain the mistake, and he promised to sort it out. That was almost five months ago, and nothing has been resolved. I’ve now written off the order, along with the import taxes I paid, as a loss. I'm only writing this review to warn others – steer clear of UK Tweed Jackets.
BEWARE! I ordered some trousers from this company in March - they happily took my money and I have never heard from them since. And no trousers forthcoming. Their number doesnt work and they are not answering emails. I suspect this is a SCAM website.
I ordered online, and paid for a jacket to be made 7 weeks ago and received email confirmation that it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Since then I've heard nothing. I emailed to see if there was an update after 4 weeks, and have emailed several times since - and used their online 'ticket' system but they are just ignoring me. Does anyone have a phone number for these people?
This is an absolute scam. I have initiated an investigation through my Credit Card company and am planning on following up in Small Claims Court. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
