You get what you pay for. We stayed here for a night on our way through from Hadrian's Wall. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, the room smelt of cigarettes smoke and the bathroom was dirty. There was mould in the shower and nail polish on the walls. It's a shame because it could be a nice place if cleaned up correctly.

Could do with an update, everything was very dusty and felt dirty. Service was pretty basic. Three of the lights in the room including bed side lights didn't even have bulbs in making the room very dark and difficult to get ready in. Parking was an added bonus. Overall basic accommodation but good for the price paid.

Don't book it! Pay a little extra and stay in a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn etc. I know this hotel was a budget price of £90 for 1 night (room only) but I wish I'd paid a little extra, at least it would have been clean. It was dirty, see photos, there was paint peeling off the wall through damp, the shower plug hole was disgusting with black hair's in the sink. The bathroom door didn't close which is just as well as the handle was hanging on by 2 loose screws, one tug and it would come off in your hands possibly trapping you inside. As well as being dirty the room was very tatty, with chipped wood and stained carpet. On top if all this the room was very hot but at least they provided a fan, without asking! I could go on but I think you get the message, just don’t book it, it's not worth it.

If you are looking for relatively cheap accommodation metres away from Leeds University campus and you do not expect much, you might like this place. Rooms are small, furniture is old, the place badly needs a refurbishment. I was given a basement room (paid more to have an en-suite one) and could not regulate the heating, window could not be opened, so it was rather hot. On the plus side, the sheets were clean and the bed was very comfy.

Good location. Room was clean and spacious enough but had a few minor issues. The WiFi only just reaches the top floor so expect it to be intermittent if you are up there. There was only 1 set of electric sockets which were miles from the bed (not ideal for charging your phone). Also there is no breakfast at the hotel.
