Bangla Cuisine Restaurant & Takeaway

The staff at the George are great, so not a reflection on them at all. We’ve tried the food yet again after a couple of months and it has gone from bad to worse. Chicken dry as a bone, lamb tough and sauce just heat with no depth of flavour. We’ve had far better curries out of a jar. Bread was OK.

Lovely addition to our village! After a hard day at work my wife visited Bangla Cuisine. We hadn’t booked a table but nevertheless they seated us. Customer service was polite and the food was amazing. Best curry I’ve had in years. Restaurant is small but you don’t feel closed in. Lovely atmosphere, great customer service and outstanding food. Plenty of parking outside too! Customer service: 10/10 Quality of food: 10/10 Surroundings: 10/10

First time I have tried this place . Ordered a takeaway. Had a pint of Hawkstone lager which was very reasonably priced . The food was as good as I have ever had . Could not fault it . I will definitely be going back . Staff were very friendly & welcoming . I’m a big fan of Thaal at Brotherton . This place is just as good .

The curry’s and starter was excellent l usually like a chicken balti with pilau rice and for me this place is the best in the Selby area it as good as Bradford or rushlome Manchester curry mile excellent and the service spot on l will be there regularly from now since l moved to this area great job

Been a few times over last few weeks. Top notch food, great service. Plenty on the menu. Ample selection of drinks including cobra on draught. Best indian in the area in my opinion.
