Terrible place to shop. Ever wondered why there are so many "Turkish Barbers", check out the Labour Party office next door, every picture tells the story. Chapeltown used to be a community but now it's a refugee dumping ground.
It's hard to make a good living these days for small business this area is showing the signs. However there are one or two good shops and the local chip shop just up the road served excellent food. On the plus side there is a local garage if you need to drop off the motorway to fuel up, parking is a little restricted on the roads ad are most small village / towns are these days. There are a couple of good pubs on the way out up towards the main road selling local ales and good food. GS
Free parking after 6!! Great when you're out for tea! But if you park before 6 you can get your money back from the selected shops. Shop local, save our shops
Shouldn't be charged for parking it puts people off shopping there and I think the shops would get more trade if parking was free
Zorro lounge is now my default Sunday brunch venue. Food and service are always spot on and it has a nice friendly atmosphere.
