I played cricket there. At first seems like a short boundary but after playing seemed fine. Got a hockey, football, basketball field and playground for kids too.
Good pitch for the junior players considering the time of year. Hot drinks available would have been welcome this very cold morning. Update - Hotdrinks available today and very welcome 🙏
As I live in cherry Burton I find it very difficult to accept that I can't walk my dog on the field it's the only place l have ever lived where I can't walk my dogs on the field. It would be worth working out what percentage of the year the field is used.
Nice local facility. Car parking is good, but a little tight at times. Pitches in good condition.
Fantastic facility recently upgraded with new multi use games area and outdoor gym. Many sports catered for.
