I cannot recommend Megan Jayne Bridal Couture enough! I arrived in the UK less than two months before my wedding and found my dress just two days later in London at a sample sale. The only problem was that it was two sizes too big. I was stressed and worried, but after searching for a seamstress near my mother-in-law’s house, I came across Megan. She was only a 20-minute drive away, and from the very first fitting, she was absolutely wonderful. Megan was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable and happy at every step. She even added an extra fitting to ensure the dress was absolutely perfect, and it truly was! Her work was flawless, and I felt incredible in my gown on my wedding day. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Megan for making my wedding dress dreams come true. If you’re looking for someone who combines exceptional skill with genuine care, Megan is the seamstress you want. She did an incredible job, and I am beyond grateful. Highly recommend!

I was so glad a chose Megan to alter my wedding dress, she did an amazing job and made my dress fit perfectly, Megan was so warm and friendly which made me feel so at ease at my dress fittings. Megan also added an extra fitting in to make sure that everything was perfect for the big day. I honestly cannot recommend Megan highly enough! I came to her with an off-the-peg wedding dress that needed a complete transformation to make it more modest and truly mine, and she worked absolute magic. Every single alteration was done flawlessly, she took my ideas and turned them into my dream dress. On top of that, she created a bespoke veil for me, and it was breathtakingly stunning. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and creativity she put into it were beyond anything I could have imagined. She is unbelievably talented, professional, and so lovely to work with. She oozes kindness and adds such a special touch to the whole experience. Thanks to her, I walked down the aisle in a dress and veil that felt 100% perfect for me. So very grateful!

My wife and I were married in September and used Megan for all of our dress fittings after buying our dresses online. Despite my dress being heavily beaded Megan was more than capable of making quite a lot of adjustments (needed due to the shape of the dress) while making sure that the pattern remained. Megan took the dress from ill fitting to perfectly fitting and I was absolutely delighted with the whole process and final outcome (see photos below for the transformation!). Megan was also a joy to work with and made the process feel easy, even with my insecurities about how the dress would fit. Overall 11/10, we’d love to use Megan again if we ever needed new wedding dresses!
