Always feel welcome when we go on a weekend. The owners are lovely. Always friendly. Nice pint or a glass of wine. Lovely warm Coal fire. Who would want more. X

Superb homely roadside pub with traditional style and real log fires. Nice, well kept real ales served by the very friendly and helpful yound lady behind the bar. Locals welcoming friendly also. Overall a very good place to visit and hopefully make a return. 👍👍👍

Visited for a birthday meal. Lovely food and fabulous service. We will be back!

Just want to add her that when visiting with my gran from the local care home 24/09/23 was met with an incredibly thoughtfull bar maid, and when gran got cold and unfortunately there wasn't wheel chair access the locals got together and got my gran in and out can't ask for a better atmosphere and whole round wholesome pub x

Nice little pub but with the prices that they charge I really cant see them staying around for the foreseeable future. Only called in after a rugby match and got myself a pint of coke and a half coke for the mrs at a cost of £3.75 . Now this wouldn't normally be a problem if it came from a pump but mine came from a 1.5ltr bottle at a cost of about £1 so a nice mark up for them but if your going to do this to a customer at least let them no it's going to come from a bottle and not a pump.
