Darby & Joan Club Clayton West

Once I managed to get inside to have my COVID booster I was soon seen and received my vaccination. Very well organised and efficient. Shame about the female at the car park entrance who was constantly on her phone talking when I went in and when I came out. I had not visited this place before so not sure about parking etc. This female just waved her arm at me, refusing me entrance to the car park. I wasn't able to ask her for advice due to her being on her phone .

I had my covid 19 vacation here. I am a key worker though I was not able to get my jab until my age group. I wanted to have my jab as close to home and work as possible therefore the Darby and Joan in Clayton was an ideal spot it saved trailing into town. It ran smoothly and they even had staff sorting out parking parking was a tight get out so the help was appreciated 😊

2nd jab day for me. Easy to find thanks to Mr Google maps. Staff awaiting at the entrance of the small car park to guide you to a space. Staff at the centre entrance to ask the usual covid questions, you are also able to get a mask should you forget your own & hand sanitiser (obviously for your hands). Once in, you give your reference number to the staff at the table on the right (I also found out that it was a 'drop in' center for those teenagers allowed to get the jab, I don't know what the time wait was though). I was then asked to see the member of staff who was standing in the middle of the hall floor, same covid questions & a little chat. The staff giving the injection became available very quickly, they wasted no time in jabbing me & I was sat in one of the chairs (social distanced from the other chairs inside 2 minutes. I then waited for the staff to say I could leave (after they confirmed that I was ok & had no side effects from the jab) & I got a sticker to boot, car park staff waved me off. All in all, smoothly run.

Visited for vaccination, on the inside everything is very well run, lovely and quick with great staff. On the outside the road and car park is absolutely insane, complete chaos but that’s not the vaccination places fault.

First time here for my jab, the regulars had volunteered were fantastic as were the nurses. If today was a reflection of the Darby and Joan, I will safely say it will be a relaxed and very friendly time.
