Wear wellies and clothes that can withstand a bit of mud and cow poo, and prepare to slippery slide but do go because it's lovely, beautiful scenery, and mostly quiet. The 'downside' are the horses which roam free in some of the fields. Beautiful of course and special to walk through, but having heard that a spaniel got killed by one of the horses over summer, I avoid all fields which have loose animals now and there is quite a few. I don't know what went on with that poor dog, it's only hear-say, but I keep my doggy on a lead and carry her when walking through a field with horses/cows, but still don't feel safe anymore. Regardless, we still go and enjoy the mud sliding, but with a bit more caution

This is a lovely public space. But sadly it isn't a public space anymore . The space has been used to pasture bullocks and the space is no longer safe to walk in. Dogs rightly need to be on leads in that space but nothing stops the bullocks running and kicking around. It's dangerous and some innocent person it it danger of being hurt. This is a public space.

Lovely public space. Great for picnic spots and there's 2 Pokestops and Pokemon Gyms in close proximity. Bonus.
