5* - Tried here on a recommendation after we'd been let down elsewhere and was not disappointed- Fitted us in straight away on a busy Sunday with 10mins notice, lovely pub, gorgeous food (at a very good price), good range on draft and attentive friendly staff. Especially impressed the homemade pie even had a rose and 'c' in the crust. Will absolutely be back and itl be our first choice for pub tea.

Booked table of 4 for food Saturday night. List of specials on the wall plus nice menu. We ordered but they didn't have this, didn't have that so had to change orders twice. In the end all we had was 2 choices from menu. Very disappointed to be honest. Great pub, great beer, great staff and atmosphere but the food was a big ket down. Wont be back to eat.
Really cute homely feel pub with home cooked food and great atmosphere with attentive staff. Had the stew and liver and would highly recommend. Will definitely be back it did not disappoint
I didn't have any food here but the service was welcoming. It was a nice old worldly pub. Loved the log burners. Beer was lovely. I will return
