Bennett's Eggs & The Garden Coffee Lounge

This place is a suprise, From the outside it's unassuming, inside it's a friendly and warm atmosphere with helpful staff making the visit all the worthwhile. The food is excellent as well as consistent, knowing you are getting quality each time you go or if you recommend it to someone. As a location it initially gives a country cafe impression, but it's service and quality that actually makes this much more. Go for breakfast and get the eggs Benedict, a favourite. Or the lunch/dinner fish and chips or Salmon, Prawn and Avocado salad. I haven't had a bad meal. Outside there are animals to see and keep the children fascinated and inside has a cozy yet clean feel. All around a great little place to visit.

Absolutely love this place. The setting is gorgeous and has such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and chatty, which really adds to the experience. The food is amazing every single time — and that’s what makes Bennets Eggs Cafe so special. Every visit has been just as good as the last, with consistently high-quality food and great service. On our most recent visit, they went above and beyond by bringing out a birthday cake for my daughter and singing happy birthday, which made her day and meant so much to us. Such a thoughtful touch. Can’t recommend this place enough — we’ll definitely keep coming back 💛

Excellent food Great service Lovely setting and great value For food I got the full English with Bennett’s pouched eggs and black pudding My wife went for the half English with Bennett’s fried egg My mum got beans on toast We all really enjoyed the super fresh and high quality ingredients in our breakfasts. We also got fresh orange, fresh apple juice and pot of tea which we all enjoyed also. The bill came to roughly £39 which to me is a bargain for 3 breakfasts with 3 drinks in the beautiful setting we had sat outside in the sun. The shop inside has lots of things to buy ranging from foods to gifts We have been many times before and this will not be the last. Thank you for great food, service. Brilliant cafe, scrumptious food, great atmosphere and the staff were great, attentive, yet left us to chat without hovering for the table to be free. Would highly recommend.

First visit to this place. Not sure why it’s taken me so long to go. The service was excellent. Shop was very well presented and stocked with lovely things. Food was delicious. I will be back soon to make up for lost time. Plus I can’t wait to try the cakes as I was too full after the breakfast.
