Worst Indian food I’ve ever had. “Onion raita” was just old separating yoghurt and curry tasted awful. “Haddock” in the curry had a texture I’ve never tasted with real haddock before and puree bread was inedible swimming in oil. Complete waste of £25 wouldn’t even feed it to a stray dog.
Ordered my first ever meal from Jewel of Mumbai as a takeaway tonight. Absolutely outstanding.. By far the best indian meal I have had in the last decade.. Absolutely delicious. And online said delivery would be 60 mins. It arrived in about 20 mins! Very well impressed with the food and delivery efficiency. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Very good. Will be back. Had mixed starter, popadoms and pickle tray to start. Popadoms at £1.25 each is a bit too much, keep it under 75p especially when pickle tray is £3 on top. Popadoms and pickle tray tasted nice though but kebabs could have had more flavour and weren't as good as Royal Delhi, would probably not order starter and just get Popadoms in future. One small onion bhaji felt a bit tight. Chicken madras, rice and fries were all excellent. Taste of madras was nice but not too hot, chicken quality was good. Fries fresh/hot and tasty, as was the rice. Service was fine, no alcohol so bring your own or order pop/J20/water
Had a wonderful dining experience at Jewel of Mumbai! The curry was rich and full of authentic flavor, paired perfectly with their soft, fresh naan. The fish starter was a standout — beautifully cooked and bursting with taste. The staff were warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made the whole evening even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best places for Indian food in town! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Myself and my partner ordered takeout on Friday, we opted for the meal for 2 for £29.95! The options for starter, main, and sides were more than enough. Added a picture for reference. There was enough food to feed four people personally, but the Curry was delicious!! we would definitely order/go into the restaurant for a meal! The only thing we had missed off our order was chapattis, but it wasn't a deal breaker because we also ordered naans with the curry
