Ordered a pizza pie from here. Phoned in and spoke to someone who had no idea what was in it. We loved these years ago and wanted to see if they were still good. Absolutely horrendous grated cheese not mozzarella cheese. Ended up eating one piece rest went in the bin 10.00 pounds wasted. Will not be going back. Train your girl who answers your phone and get yourself a decent chef, or close the doors.
This place has consistently been the best takeaway around here for more than a decade, but the £20 minimum on the website has stopped me from ordering. My usual £15 order has gone up to £20-£25. I’m just adding random things I don’t eat in order to meet the delivery requirements. I know we’re living through some difficult times and the costs or running a business aren’t cheap, but squeezing out people ordering alone is just losing you more business in the long run. £15 minimum would be perfect. I've lost count of the number of times I've ordered from Mama Roma. Easily over 300 orders over the last 2-3 years and I can honestly say I've never had a single issue with them. The pizzas are always perfect, the sides are great and I still can't get over the selection. Honestly the best pizza place around.
I ordered my food at 9:00. The place was closing at 11 and I didn’t get my food till half 11 which makes no sense at all. I had to ring to find out what was happening and to be fair the place was busy apparently so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then when It did arrive the delivery guy told me to have some patience. I thought he was joking at first and started saying we were busy. The guy should be apologising for being 2 hour late not telling me to be.patient. Never had a problem with that place until that last night. Food was awful as well. It was cold and burnt. They had 2 hours to make the food and couldn’t get it right. If you want cold pizza or burnt pizza then order from here 👍🏻
