Yesterday I was at work on the M1 at junction 45 when I came across a van broken down on the northbound exit slip. It was a Red Kite van. The man driving the van pulled our cones out and made his own closure which over hung into a live lane continuing onto the round about causing an even more dangerous situation. I asked the guy nicely if he would pull his vehicle off the road or even around the corner where it was much safer and he point blank refused. The van was still driveable. The job had to be off for 3:00pm and it was already 3:10. He continued to be abusive towards me and refused to cooperate so I continued on with my job. I have never seen such rudeness in all my life.
