Deli-Cious

⚠️ Just a warning about Deli-Cious, Huddersfield Rd, Liversedge (WF15 7ER). I bought a turkey salad sandwich from them on 14th August and it was awful — fatty, pale brown, looked undercooked and completely inedible (photos attached). It actually made me feel ill afterwards. I contacted them directly with photos but got no response. This is worrying as lots of people locally order from there every day. They were rated “Good” in 2023 but things have clearly gone downhill since then. I’ve reported them to Kirklees Environmental Health. Please be careful if you’re buying from there.

Very friendly ladies. Ordered a large breakfast to go, and it was awesome! Sadly, they've changed their opening hours this month. Mon.. 08:00 - 11:30 Tues. 08:00 - 11:30 Wed. 08:00 - 11:30 Thur. 08:00 - 11:30 Fri.... 08:00 - 11:30 Sat... 08:00 - 11:00 Sun.. Closed. The quality is still top-notch though. So if you're feeling peckish, and the "Open" sign is shining bright, then drop in for some delicious food. Don't, listen to the "Haywood" comment. She didn't like the sandwich, so a 1☆ review. But she also claims to have contacted environmental health. Talk about a total KAREN. Karen "I want to speak to the manager, NOW!"😁.

We called in to Deli-Cious today, Sunday 2nd of June. Hubby had a jacket potato meal and I had a ploughman's lunch. The food was excellent, the service and ladies waiting on was lovely. Friendly and really efficient. The only reason I have marked the cafe 2 stars down on food was because of the man preparing our food. When we sat down I could see directly into the kitchen, where ha was scrolling on his phone, orders went in to him but he didn't wash his hands. He also then ran his hand through his hair whilst he plated up our salad, putting his hand into the fresh salad bag. 🤢 I can't fault the food itself, or the presentation, it just made me feel ick, him using his hand. He should've used tongs instead of his hands. Other than that, all was really good. Thank you ladies! 🤗

Very poor hygiene. Whilst cooking the breakfast, I watch the lass blow her noise on a manky tissue, which was then left on the side. No washing of the hands, and then proceeds to cook. When transferring the bacon, the said hand was used. Sandwich went straight into the bin on leaving the shop.

Really nice sandwich shop but puts delivery orders before counter orders. So if you walk in then expect a long wait. They also tend to loose a sandwich from orders every so often. A shame as it is nice but lacks organisation.
