On arrival at the property, I'd had no prior communication to tell me the door code to gain entry to the unmanned premises. I pressed the ring doorbell twice with no response. I then proceeded to ring all four numbers which were printed on a piece of paper in the window. Three of them didn't answer, one answered which had gone through to another property in Wakefield? The man said he couldn't assist me. I then kept ringing the other numbers over and over until I finally got an answer from a nice helpful man called Daz, who said he would come to meet us at there property. Daz arrived and was very apologetic and advised me that he wasn't aware which bookings were due to arrive at which property as the person's in charge had gone away and not provided him with any log in details for the bookings system. I had just driven for 5 hours so was in no mood for any of this nonsense. Daz then asked us to drive behind him to another property a few minutes down the road, apologetic still, the, he let us into a room. The problems however didn't end there, it was later apparent that there was no hot water at the property which was thankfully sorted promptly. We were advised that we could use a communal kitchen at the property as needed but on entering the kitchen I was greeted with the most revolting smell and a sink full of old water and dirty pans. Lastly, we had loud, inconsiderate people in the room next to us shouting and playing what sounded like video games very loudly late I to the night.

Be sure to check other places before committing..Booked a room for a week stay, upon arrival the check-in to the room it was dirty, full of rubbish and not cleaned as specified as it “claims” ready for the next stay. Bins over flowing with rubbish, food items left on the side and in the draws, drinks cartons and spillage of liquids everywhere. A brown substance on the floor which looked to be excrement or body fluids, the bed had dirty slept in sheets which wasn’t changed or cleaned and looked like someone had just got out of bed.. dirty fridge, unknown red fluids splashed on wall/radiators.. party ballon’s everywhere! Contacted the representative who tried to give me a second room but this was the same state with extra empty vodka bottles!! They did try relocate me but it didn’t this wasn’t practical and left me at short notice searching for alternative accommodation.

Lovely place for short vacation quiet breath taking greener views situated in the city centre of cleakheaton
