Gomersal Lodge Hotel

It is convenient for the motorway, and the bathroom was immaculate, brand new. Beds clean and comfortable. It's quiet and dog friendly. . The nearest town ( Cleckheaton)is a bit depressing,on a dismal autumn night, but may well be less so in better weather...and the food options are very much takeaway/ fast food. As a stop over on your trip north, the hotel itself is fine, for the money, how could you complain?

Absolutely beautiful venue! Gomersal Lodge Hotel and Marquee is set in a peaceful, scenic location with lovely green spaces to walk and a charming deck area perfect for enjoying tea. There's plenty of parking and the whole place feels quiet and welcoming. The service was excellent throughout, but a special mention must go to Shazia, the hostess – she was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after. Her warmth and attention to detail truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Perfect venue for a small engagement or a birthday party. Can host upto 500 guests. Fantastic scenery. Made our engagement day extra special. Views were spectacular. The weather was on point so that was a bonus.

I’ve stayed at the hotel for over 9 years, initially 4 years every week and, post Covid, irregularly. Now under new owners I found the service impersonal, of poor quality and a real disappointment. I post this having instructed my team to inform the hotel management directly if my concerns, but I am not confident they will listen. A very sad day for me, I have many fond memories at this hotel.
