Visitors often comment about how quiet and peaceful the Garden Cottage is. It has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a coal shed, laundry, and gardener’s toilet and is now a delightful one-bedroom cottage for 2 to 3 guests, located in the garden behind Four Gables, a Grade 2 Listed Arts & Crafts property. The decoration has a tranquil, oriental theme: David and Anne Watts pride themselves on attention to detail. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, fridge, 4-burner hob and a small oven, and you will find fluffy towels, a comfortable bed with crisp linens and down duvets (in season), hair dryer, smart TV with DVD player, as well as free Wifi. The paved patio with garden furniture is for exclusive use by the occupants.

Accommodation

Double bedroom (full 4.5-ft. double bed); we can also make up a single bed in the lounge. The lounge has a small dining area and kitchenette. Bathroom with shower. Towels and bed linen included. Private parking is available close to the cottage. Four Gables is on a quiet lane, walking distance to Boston Spa’s restaurants and shops, 1 mile off the A1. It is halfway between London and Edinburgh, equidistant to York, Leeds and Harrogate (about 12 miles from each), within striking distance of the Yorkshire Dales. Wetherby Race course is 3 miles away there are several historic houses and gardens near including Harewood House 5 miles away and Bramham Park is 3 miles.
