Ashley and Kelly have been here at the Sun since 2004 and have built up an enviable reputation for fine food and drink, still retaining the idyllic country Inn setting.

Newly refurbished and open for business seven days a week, offering a collection of events in and around the pub as well as regular cookery demonstrations and classes within the pub, local area or our new state of the art kitchen.

We pride ourselves on pleasant and friendly service and the best dishes from locally sourced produce, as well as an attractive wine list and mighty fine selection of cask ales.

In June 2011 owners Ashley and Kelly excitedly unveiled the £350k extension to their multi-award winning country pub.

The extension has added a large multi-purpose function room and more than doubled the size of the kitchen to cope with the additional 50 to 60 cover capacity. The whole pub has been remodelled to incorporate the extension and provide an even more enjoyable experience for customers.
