Busy Bees at Colton Mill

We have had a wonderful experience with this nursery and were recommended it by a good friend of ours, whose children both attended. All the staff are friendly and approachable and our Son is thriving socially. It’s such a big decision to decide where to send your child and we could never have imagined that we’d find somewhere that felt so comfortable. Our son eats a wonderful variety of fresh meals and we are always kept up to date with his progress. We never have any worries leaving him there and we couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. Staff are highly organised, friendly and welcoming. The place itself makes you feel safe about choosing this nursery for your little one. On site chefs make dietary concerns a high priority and your kid is taken very well. Sometimes I personally feel, my child tries a variety of food than what I try to feed at home. Overall a very well managed nursery!

Our son is about to start in January. I am leaving a 5* review already because we have been treated really nicely during the visits, I was impressed by the spaces and the organisation of the nursery and surely the process of registering our child couldn't be more straightforward. It's our first child, we haven't lived in the area for long, don't know many people with kids and it was a stressful time choosing the right nursery. I do believe we have chosen wisely. BONUS: They offer a refer a friend scheme too, which I didn't know about but you know now!!! I'll come back to update the review once our son has settled.

Both our kids went to Busy Bees. The staff were really caring and the schedule was very flexible during holidays for us when we had the free government hours. Outdoor space is great - our kids remember the bikes and they did Spanish lessons that my youngest still sings the songs from. Loads of activities in the halls, a little library that I always used to read in to settle the kids before I dropped them off. Brilliant Christmas plays. Thanks for all you did.

Our 8 year old attended Busy Bee's at Colton Mill between 9 months and 4 years old, and now our 3 year old is also currently at this nursery, having been there since he was also 9 months old. Both of our boys absolutely loved, and do love Busy Bee's. I have never once been worried or concerned when dropping the boys off and have absolute peace of mind that they are safe, well-cared for and are probably having a better time there, than they would with me! What more can a parent ask for?! The staff are great, and a lot of the team who were there when our eldest was, are still there today so surely that speaks volumes. The outdoor space is great, and I love that the food is made on-site as opposed to other nurseries where it's re-heated frozen meals. The nursery are always investing in the premises and equipment to ensure it's the best it can be. Our youngest could have started at the local Primary School pre-school nursery a few months ago but we took the conscious decision to keep him at Busy Bee's for his pre-school year as he loves it so much. Honestly, if you're considering this place, I couldn't be more glowing about the facilities, the staff etc.
