Riva Blu Italian Restaurant & Bar, Leeds The Springs

We went to Riva Blu at the Springs for a little catch up and a nice lunch. The restaurant was reasonably quiet which was nice as it wasn’t too noisy. Service was fair, we didn’t feel rushed but did have to ask for attention and there’s a standard 10% service charge. We did pay the charge but when restaurants automatically add you’d expect service to be 5stars. The atmosphere is a little bit bland hence 4stars. Food was fine, nothing dynamic but tasty enough. I’ve rated food down to 4 star because of the tea. I love a nice cup of tea to round my meal off and this can only be described as warm water. I asked for another tea bag to put in the pot which they brought, but it made no difference at all. I take barely any milk and like a strong cuppa…. I’ll add the picture. Avoid the tea. Otherwise, all was fine. 4/5 stars overall.

We popped by to celebrate our wedding anniversary and enjoyed a wonderfully pleasant experience. Our hostess, Maria, was lovely. We were greeted and seated well and the service was fantastic. Attentive with a light touch. The food was well presented and hot and the prices were very reasonable too. A great meal was rounded off with some smooth cocktails in the bar afterwards. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful venue, food is outstanding (highly recommend the seafood pasta - super fresh, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour) and the wonderful staff genuinely can't do enough for you. Location-wise, it’s perfect - right off the motorway at The Springs retail park. Free parking is a massive bonus, and you can easily combine your meal with a shopping trip. Plus, they have a lovely alfresco terrace for when the weather’s nice! Hidden gem! 5 stars - highly recommend!

the burger was a bit expensive but worth the money. there was a deal for pizza and a beer for £10!! the pizza was deliciously spicy and crisp, and big! my partner had the riva special cheeseburger and he said it was one of the best cheeseburgers he’d ever had, with a big tender patty. the chips were amazing - crispy skin on fries salted to perfection. service was a little slow however the time of the day we went there wasn’t many people eating there. our waiter was lovely. great atmosphere and decor inside. the pornstar martini was amazing and you could strongly taste the hints of vanilla. my only qualm about this place is that the tables seem to be extremely close together!

Best roast dinner on east side of Leeds, amazing atmosphere and very well looked after by our waiter Georgio. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!
