|The secret is out! The first wave of artists for Tramlines 2026 has landed, and it’s an absolute stormer. Get ready for a massive weekend of music at Hillsborough Park from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July 2026, with huge headliners and some brilliant supporting acts. The announcement comes after more than 20,000 fans signed up for early access to tickets, leading to the fastest sales in the festival's history. With over two-thirds of all tickets already snapped up, it looks like this one is heading for a very early sell-out. The remaining pre-sale tickets go live at 6pm on Thursday 27 November, so there's no time to hang about.

Friday kicks off with a legend
The weekend starts with a bang. Headlining the main stage on Friday is none other than Fatboy Slim, bringing his legendary big-beat sound for his first major outdoor festival show in Sheffield. Think of iconic tunes like “Praise You” and “Right Here, Right Now” booming across Hillsborough Park – it’s going to be a proper party starter. But that’s not all. Joining him are the Kaiser Chiefs, who are guaranteed to get the crowd bouncing with their indie anthems. The rest of the day is stacked with talent, including The Vaccines, rising stars The K’s, and a first-ever Tramlines appearance for Vanessa Carlton. It’s a huge opening day for the festival.
Saturday is for the singalongs
Get those vocal cords ready, because Saturday is all about the big choruses. The mighty Courteeners are headlining, a band whose return has been one of the most requested by Tramlines fans. They’re known for their massive, passionate live shows where every single person in the crowd knows every word. It's bound to be an unforgettable set. Before them, the brilliant Blossoms will take to the stage, armed with a Mercury Prize nomination and a growing list of festival anthems. And then there's a proper treat: the one and only Rick Astley. He’s had an amazing comeback, collaborating with everyone from Foo Fighters to Blossoms themselves. The line-up is rounded out by the incredible Gabrielle and Sheffield’s own Everly Pregnant Brothers. There’s something for everyone in this Saturday music feast.
A daytime disco and a Sunday spectacular
But wait, there’s more happening on Saturday. The hugely popular Day Fever is bringing its daytime disco experience to Hillsborough Park for the first time. What’s that, you ask? It's basically all the fun of a big night out, but during the day. Started by actress Vicky McClure, filmmaker Jonny Owen, and Reverend & the Makers’ frontman Jon McClure, Day Fever is all about floor-fillers and good times. It's a disco for people who still love to dance but also love their bed.
Then, on Sunday, the festival closes with one of the UK’s most exciting live bands, Wolf Alice. Known for their powerful mix of grunge, rock, and beautiful ballads, their headline set is set to be a proper moment. They're joined by the fantastic Wet Leg, whose quirky pop tunes have made them a festival favourite. And because this is Tramlines, there’s a strong local showing. Sheffield heroes Reverend and the Makers are back, alongside The Enemy and the always-joyful Lottery Winners. It’s a perfect way to round off an incredible weekend of live music.
More than just music: spilling the beans for a good cause
Tramlines has always been a festival with a big heart, and this year is no different. Ahead of the announcement, hundreds of people around the UK received special tins of beans in the post, each one with the name of a 2026 artist on it. A fun little teaser! But it was also for a brilliant cause. On Friday 21 November, fans were invited to donate food to the S6 Foodbank in Hillsborough. Anyone who made a donation got one of the limited-edition tins in return. It’s a great example of the festival giving back to the Sheffield community.
This commitment to local causes is powered by The Tramlines Trust. Since it started in 2022, the Trust has given over £120,000 in grants to local groups, with more than half of that going to projects right there in Hillsborough. It supports everything from culture and youth projects to education and mental health initiatives. It’s all about making sure the festival has a positive impact that lasts long after the final chord has been played.
Timm Cleasby, the Operations Director for Tramlines, had this to say:
“I’d like to say a massive thank you to our amazing Tramlines community who have helped make this a record breaking year. I’m chuffed we’ve been able to highlight the brilliant S6 Foodbank in our launch campaign, they do vital work in the community and we will continue to support them. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Hillsborough Park for another huge weekend of music, comedy and fun. See you in the summer!”
How to get your tickets
Right, the important bit. How to get in on the action for Tramlines 2026? Here’s what you need to know about the tickets:
- Priority Pre-sale: Kicks off at 6pm on Thursday 27 November for everyone who has signed up.
- General Sale: If any tickets are left, they go on sale at 6pm on Friday 28 November.
Given how quickly the first batch of tickets flew off the shelves, it’s a good idea to be ready for that pre-sale if you want to be there. This year’s announcement shows that Tramlines just keeps getting bigger and better, bringing amazing artists to the heart of Sheffield.
