Asda Edlington Supermarket

Never in my 20 years of living in the UK has anyone been so rude to me when picking up a parcel. The girl who works there had a problem with everything and I just wanted to pick up the parcel with a smile on my face. What a tragedy.

Really bad store. No tills are ever open despite them having two. Only use this store if you're OK with self checkout. Just don't buy anything that requires staff clearance as you'll be waiting for 10+ minutes for staff to authorise it for you. The staff could not care less. I've seen lots of smack heads walk in then walk straight out with items under their arms which is funny considering they usually have a security guard at front. Maybe if he wasn't so interested in standing around talking to his colleagues he would be paying attention enough to stop shop lifters. I don't even blame the shoplifters tbh. Better to just help yourself if the staff don't want to sell it to you.

All ways happy to help. What a load of rubbish is that slogan is. Management rude. Would not open another till. Staff seem nice and talkative, some with a smile but they just don't seem to help out. im Allways waiting in a queue Staff dont seem to hurry in this place. 20mins standing in a queue GET RID OF THE PAY POINT DEVICE OR AT LEAST PUT TWO PEPOLE ON THAT TILL! (too much for one person to do. Parcels, lotto, cigs, pay point, there on till and checking the self scanners)

The staff are so rough stood at the self service tonight the guy behind the checkout asked a girl to do something she shouts " I'm going for a quick piss I will do it when I get back" non of them are helpful or know how to say please or thankyou.

Absolutely disgusted at the customer service i received today collecting an order. An older lady on the desk at around 10.30 served me and said one thing throughout the entire transaction "code?" THAT IS IT. No hello, no won't be a minute but more importantly no thank you and just 'chucked' my parcel onto the desk in front of HER scanner, not even in front of me and started to do something else. I wasn't even sure she had finished and thought maybe it required a sticker or something which is why she had turned her back on me but nope just the rudest person i had ever met without even the excuse of it being busy because i was the only one in the Queue at the entire checkout. Won't be going again.
