Today we were on a circular walk from Spruce Gill fm at Finghall, has we came into Constable Burton it was around 10.30. whilst walking by the reading room we saw a sign in the doorway saying refreshments from 11am , my wife went in to ask if they would be open from 11am today, a lovely lady said “I’ll put the kettle on and you can come in now “. Inside was a local family, everyone was so welcoming, even to our 2 very dirty dogs. The tea & coffee was lovely, we also had a choice of biscuits and cakes. what a beautiful little village and reading room, we can’t thank you enough for your hospitality. Many thanks John & Wendy

Fabulous village hall. Spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen and toilets. Hall is managed by Hilda. Super friendly and extremely helpful!
