The waitress was very obliging. She helpfully stated the vegan options for us. They have a number of vegan options including a full breakfast and oat milk is available 😊 Good range of food. Generous portions. Very clean and warm. Happy to cater for walkers ether via sash window or indoors. Would go back to eat and would recommend. 👍

One of the best cooked breakfasts in North Yorkshire. Great value for money and lovely friendly staff.

As always I couldn't find fault with this cafe.i had a breakfast which I've never had here before and it was excellent.everything on the plate was top quality and cooked perfect. The cafe was very busy being a Sunday and nice weather but we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive and all the staff were exceptional. definitely one of my fav places to go..just wish I lived closer so I could go more often

I’ve been there 3 days off the trot and thought I’d found a regular stop to eat at on my delivery route but no,the food is good but today I stood at the window behind a customer who had just had there order taken, you would think she would have moved onto me after but no she proceeds to spend about 7 minutes talking about her knee operation, the conversation probably went on for longer than that but I got bored and left, won’t be back.

4 of us went in (5/8/25), 2 sat down, 2 went to order, but were totally ignored by the 5 staff behind the counter - not a smile or an acknowledgement - for at least 5 minutes. They seemed surprised when we walked out and went to the cafe across the square, where we were made most welcome.
