very lovely little nature reserve, a good range of birds around! The volunteers are all very lovely and welcoming. Carolyn was very knowledgeable and helpful too! The bird watching huts are a great way to sit and look out for the birds.
Lovely relaxing place, didn't see much in the way of wildlife just the usual goldfinch robins sparrows and tits. Heard the woodpecker. But never got a glimpse. Lovely well kept reserve though and not too big. That was that visit.. since then it's my fave place ever. Sparrow hawk, buzzard, woodpeckers, kites, owls, stoats, rabbits and the elusive kingfisher. To name a few. The garden of eden.
What a great place. Not huge but great.
