Absolutely gem of find at last minute, contacted Gill & Keith and got a prompt reply. Amazing location near Byland Abbey and Coxwold. Nice and quiet location, Hoists very friendly and approachable. Facilities clean and tidy, EHU included in our stay for one night ÂŁ23 on a hardstanding pitch. Super friendly family cats, it was lovely watching the lambs and their mams, also the resident chickens. We shall deffiently be back...
I stayed here as my niece lives in nearby Husthwaite. We loved every single moment of staying here! The owners were friendly and helpful and there if you needed them. We woke up to cows mooing, it was sheer heaven, the views were phenomenal and youâre only a stones throw from beautiful villages and of course, York only up the road! We will be back, for sure!
Large rural site with plenty of space and hook up for each pitch. Facilities fine and friendly staff. Mile walk to Coxwold or Byland along road with wide verges so not a problem. Lovely sunrises!
We stayed here for 2 nights. Itâs a small site on a working farm with wonderful views. The owners are very friendly and the facilities are very clean. We love this site itâs one of our favourites. While staying here we walked to the pretty village of Coxwold and visited the church. Itâs very impressive and in a lovely location. We then went for lunch at the Fauconberg . Lovely sandwiches served with chips and salad at lunchtime. We will certainly return to this site.
Travelled with my dog and the site is on a working farm, lovely greeting. Site loo and shower are immculate as is the camping area. Friendly dogs, cats and sheep with the cows mooing in the background. Idylic. Thank you for hosting a real gem! â·
