WOW WOW, this cottage is just AMAZING. 4 of us & 4 dogs stayed here 16/5/25. Neil the owner was amazing from the first email till the day we left.The cottage has everything you could need and more. It was just like living at home,well apart from the stunning scenery. The garden area is small,but it was not a problem with our 4 dog's as we were out all day, every day as there is so many walks and lots of places to visit. 10 minutes from the cottage is the river Swale where is a lovely walk along the river, and as there has not been much rain lately the river was so low so it was easy for the dog's to play in. I can 100% recomend this little gem of a place. North Yorkshire you were outstanding. Neil you are a very lucky man to live where you do,oh and again thank you for letting us use your cottage. 5 stars is not enough. 😊🌞 Z & Zebo loved all the walks and pub's aswell. 🐾🐾

What a fabulous find, the cottage is gorgeous in every way. Lots of little touches make your stay even better. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of crockery and utensils and also condiments and much more that you don’t normally get. Neil the owner is really friendly and happy to help with anything you need. This cottage is totally dog friendly, not just tolerated and has a little enclosed front garden for the dogs to safely pop outside and join you to enjoy the view. Cannot recommend this cottage or the location highly enough. Wonderful walks and trails from the door. We will definitely be coming back.

This is the most fabulous cottage in the Dales and would 100% recommend. The host Neil was incredibly helpful and welcoming should you have any queries or assistance needed. Lots of beautiful walks from the cottage and unlike a lot of cottages we have stayed in over the years, the kitchen was excellently stocked with utensils, a fabulous cooker and a proper large fridge that you can fit your shopping in! Great for dogs too as the large kitchen's double doors open up to a safe gated front where your pup can sit out and enjoy the view with you:) The close by village of Reeth is also beautiful, has an excellent bakery, pub, cafe, fab ice cream shop, post office and excellent community shop for provisions.

Just spent a truly lovely week at Swale View cottage - it’s the perfect spot to get away from it all and relax with family (especially if you also have a dog!). The views and walks from the cottage are fantastic, we enjoyed meeting some of the very friendly locals on morning dog walks, and the pubs are as good as ever. Neil could not have been more helpful and friendly and it all made for a really perfect week away. Thanks so much!

Swale View is the perfect example of a holiday cottage.  It is set in a great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales on foot, by bike or by car.  Well considered amenities and touches make this a home from home.  We stayed for a week in the summer and enjoyed the superb views, peace and quiet and the fact it was exactly as described.  We wouldn't hesitate to come back and enjoy it all over again.
