Threaplands House Farm Camping & Caravan Park

Fabulous site. A hidden gem. Not for those wanting luxury facilities but everything you need, clean and tidy.

Lovely spot, short walk from village with great pub and farm shop. We had the whole field to ourselves. Decent toilets and showers. 👍

Stayed one night here beginning of July. Arrived late and without booking but we were met enthusiastically and accommodated. Fairly flat site, toilets & showers basic but adequate, washing up area and very quiet, no road noise. Just pigs and chickens! Unfortunately local pub was closed and nearest shop a 10 minute drive but we had food on board. Beautiful views!

A very rural camp and caravan site. Drive through a farmyard and between two working barns in to a large field where all the caravans and tents are situated. There's a couple of free standing water taps dotted around the field. The toilets, showers and waste water facility are situated behind the house at the far end of the field. The showers are free! 🎉 The sounds of birds, including woodpecker and cuckoo (season dependent), and cows, sheep and pigs resound throughout the area. The owner is friendly and chatty.

We have been going here for over 15 years now if not longer . Fantastic quiet place to stay x
