Lovely pub, very friendly staff and fabulous vegan options. Great location and was super clean throughout. I went with the BBQ cauliflower kebab and it was lush- sometimes a risky choice in other places as easy to over or under cook but they were spot on it was delicious. Great pricing as well highly recommended 😊

The Bay Horse is a great spot with a welcoming atmosphere. It’s dog-friendly, has a pool table, and offers fast, polite service. I had a fish pie, which was a good portion and really enjoyable. A solid pub for a relaxed drink and a bite to eat.

We booked for Sunday lunch as we were staying nearby. Very welcoming and fantastic Sunday lunch. Beef was delicious, and I don't normally like beef for a roast as I find it dry. This wasn't at all! Our 6 year old had the chicken roast and our 4 year old had the turkey dinosaurs (first time I've seen this on a children's menu). Both children enjoyed their meals. We found the landlord so friendly and accommodating and the fire was lit, making a lovely atmosphere. We returned later in the week for a drink after a day out. Again, fire was lit and we had a lovely welcome. Landlord even remembered our sons name and what the children liked to drink. Our daughter just kept saying "I love it here!". She also said that the Yorkshire puddings are better than mine - I can't really complain about that! We would return if we didn't live nearly four hours away πŸ˜”

Great little local pub next door to cottage we stayed in. Good simple food at a very reasonable price. Owner welcoming and didn't write down our food and drinks - trusted us to tell him - 4 waters ;-). Hope to visit again.

Lovely, very friendly village pub, excellent service, (great landlord, very welcoming) nice and cosy with the log burner. Will be back to try the home made food shortly. Thanks!
