Burtree Lakes

Description

The park itself is a haven for a variety of wildlife, set within our lakes and grassland with walks around the site and lakes.

We are a pet friendly park and have specially designated dog exercise area and walks.

The market towns of Bedale, Northallerton, Leyburn, Thirsk and Richmond are nearby. Richmond is an attractive town, with a cobbled market place and Georgian buildings. The impressive Norman castle, and museums depicting local history are well worth a look. You could have a trip on the Wensleydale Railway, a restored rail service between Leeming Bar (near the A1) and Redmire and see some of the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

Further afield we have York with a wealth of shops cafes and other attractions.
