Wonderful stay in a Wonderful Location So pleased to have found this accommodation in such a lovely location. The cottages are immaculate, cosy and well equipped. Alison and Lionel are the perfect hosts, so very helpful and thoughtful, nothing is too much trouble! Great location next to the Watermill and Beck, fantastic for spotting wildlife! Highly recommended!!!

We stayed at the CL Touring site. The location is fantastic. We like to retire the car when away and that was no problem. The site is slightly uneven which takes a bit of time to master but great when you get there. Limited facilities which we were aware of. Nice friendly owners, not too restrictive. Easy walk through fields into Bedale. Well worth a visit Good train ride to Leyburn. All in all a good CL in a fantastic location. Highly recommended *****

We booked this cl site last minute for a 2 night stay, entrance to the site is narrow but if you take it easy no problem , pitches are on a slight slope, pitch 4 which we were on was the worst but using 2ramps sorted it out. It is also a long distance to the hook up, but owner had an extension, a small hut has the toilet and information about the area , site is very quiet even though there is a footpath at the site entrance which takes you around the village. A working watermill is on the site and rentable cottages are available, owners we very friendly and helpful,we will definitely be returning

Lovely accommodation complex in a quintessential North Yorkshire village. There are high quality self catering properties and a nice small campsite. The couple running it are very friendly and helpful.

Be careful if its wet, very soggy pitch, no hard standing. Not the best if sites. Due to our car having problems we had to leave earlier than planned, but still got charged. Not happened on any other site we have been on. Couple in a motor home said they were given scones and cake. We didn't get any. Will not go there again. Be careful very narrow entrance, especially if you have the new 8ft wide caravans you may just squeeze through.
