We had an amazing time doing bottomless brunch with our hen party. Cocktails were perfect (and good value even without the bottomless options), the food was delicious and perfect to pick at - especially impressed with the vegan board and ability to cater for all dietary requirements. Then there was Kathryn herself, who was a brilliant host and did everything by herself (cocktails, food, chatting) but you would never know as the service was so smooth and we had a minimum of two drinks at any time. Great value for money. Thank you!
We absolutely love The Burnt Bear! They hosted my recent birthday party and it was fantastic. The staff were enthusiastic and incredibly detail orientated - they even let me create my own cocktail for the evening and put it on the menu! If you're looking for an event venue then I can't recommend them highly enough. They are equally fab for a quiet and cosy drink with lots of friendly locals!
I held my 40th birthday party at the Burnt Bear and Kath and her team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, there was time before to set up and it was clean and cosy. It was expertly catered by the Yorkshire Pud Bakery and the cocktails were delicious with plenty of drink options. I can’t recommend it enough.
We always have a lovely time in the little party room at the back of the Burnt Bear. It’s a super cosy place with great cocktails and a kind of cool bar vibe. The porn star martinis are really good, the service is friendly and welcoming and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others 🤗
Spent many a happy hour here. Beautiful, cosy micro pub with locally sourced spirits and ale. Plus, a landlady who makes Babs Windsor at the Queens Vic look like a shrinking violet. Full, north of the wall Yorkshire I tell thee - cloth caps and ferrets optional.x
