Been there quite a few times over the last few years and I know it's changed hands recently. So we tried it out 2 weeks ago and it took an hour of waiting for the food which they mentioned before hand. The food was really good, 3 times beef roasts. Today we decided to visit again and booked a table 2 or 3 hours before. We waited an hour and a half and i decided to ask how long for the food. We were told, "Not long now" Also before that we were told that they didn't have enough beef left, only enough for one of us. So I was offered an alternative of 3 other meats. Eventually up to 2 hours later our food came. I made it clear that we were very disappointed with the length of time we had to wait without being told at the beginning. Also waiting an hour and a half to be told there wasn't enough beef as they had been busy. We were offered a couple of apologies by the staff but not the manager. We were not offered any complimentary drinks or desserts or even discount on the bill. Totally badly run and unorganised for a restaurant setting/pub meal. Myself, my Wife and indeed our Daughter were all left disappointed and we have definitely decided never to visit the Golden Fleece in Oakworth in the future. Shame really because it has great potential to be one of the best pub restaurants in the area.

Beautiful thick chicken slices roast potatoes mash potatoe and other vegetables gravy was fantastic really tasty, topping it off with apple crumble and custard and everything was piping hot . We are local and this was the first time we had gone and will certainly be going again well done great staff
