I was initially hesitant as it doesn't seem like the kind of place that would be good for allergies. But talking to the friendly staff here soon put me at ease. I had a gluten free sausage, egg and mushroom sandwich and a latte. They also have other gluten free options like chilli (which is a special so probably isn't on the menu permanently). They're happy to discuss options with you and are very knowledgeable.
We called in to The buffet Car café for a lunchtime snack after walking to Haworth from Oakworth on New Year’s Day , we had a sausage and bacon sandwich in a bap and a sausage and tomato on brown bread , with two coffees The sandwiches were filling tasty and reasonably priced , The café is also a dog friendly with doggy treats available.
Lovely place with really friendly, thoughtful staff. Had decaf tea with oat milk and 2 veggie breakfasts which were great, hash browns so good. Quiet when we were in and nice chilled decor!
Had lunch here whilst visiting Howarth. Really good value. Food excellent and service ist class. We had a dog with us who was given free dog biscuits. We asked for a sausage for him and he got his own dish of chopped up sausage. Great burger and home made chips. Best value we have had in ages. Great to see a cafe not ripping people off. Keep up the great work
Loved our visit here. The staff were brilliant, attentive but not ‘in your face’. Scrambled egg on toast was delicious piping hot and beautifully served. Lovely lattes too.
