When we arrived the bar staff were friendly. We ordered a sunday tea and the pork belly main. We also got a starter each. The menu clearly stated it would take time as each meal is made to order, and even though we waited a little longer for the mains to arrive, they and the starters where deffo worth the wait! The prices for what we ordered where good value. 👍 would really recommend if your looking for a sunday lunch.

Called in for some lunch today (Sunday 18th Jan). The food was excellent we both ordered starters and a main each. I had the Sunday roast beef lunch and my partner ordered the pork off the main menu. Starters arrived in good time and was delicious. After the starters it did take a long time for the mains to arrive. However it does state on the menu that every meal is made to order. We was so happy to have lunch here the food was excellent and we would definitely come back here when visiting haworth.

My fiancée treated me to a weekend away here for a birthday present. We arrived on the Friday afternoon and had an allocated parking space for the weekend. The pub was busy with drinkers and diners, but we were still checked in within 15mins and shown to our room. We ate at the Black Bull on Friday evening, and i can say that the steak and ale pie was one of the best i have ever tasted. The breakfast on Saturday morning was plentiful and extremely tasty. The staff service was bang on and the location of the Black Bull is absolutely perfect for people wishing to experience Haworth. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

A DISUSTING RIP OFF My wife and I stayed in Haworth for Christmas. A friend came to visit on his birthday Dec 28th. So the three of us went to The Black Bull for a meal. The woman taking our order behind the bar appeared impatient and irritated, when my wife asked about details not on the menu relating to allergies. The food took forever to arrive. When it did, I was shocked at the pitiful sight on my plate. £16 for two buns and a vegi burger between them. No dressing, no salad and no cheese. I had also paid £1.50 for extra cheese. When the menu said "extra" I interpreted that as being in addition to cheese that the burger came with. It came with nothing but two dry buns. There was a poor excuse for a salad on the plate, which was a few leafy looking things, which was definitely not fresh. Sat next to a sparse handful of french fries. I had expected something more substantial, such as thick cut chips. We had asked for ketchup and mayonnaise, enough for the three of us. After another wait, we were given two measly pots, one of each dressing. Certainly not enough for three people. I was going to complain but my wife said not to, given it was our friend's Birthday. Although she and my friend were not happy with their meals either. I ate SOME of the tough, tasteless, overpriced burger, dried up leaves and cheap fries, but frankly it was absoluty extortionate, disgusting and unacceptable.

The only nice thing about the hotel is the location. The staff need to learn a thing or two about customer service, which is sorely lacking at the property. I booked the room for a one night stay in December. Nothing on the booking platform, the hotel website or any messages from the hotel said anything about the property playing live music until 11:30pm at night. The rooms have zero sound proofing, so all sound from the pub below can be heard in the rooms above. The property also boasts of refurbished rooms on their website, but the posted pictures fail to include the very dark and large stains on the carpets and chipped paint. The mattress also has no cushion. The tv that is mounted on the wall, might be the tiniest tv I have ever seen in my life. If not for being tired and the loud noise in the room coming from the pub, we might have just toughed out the stay, but we were not able to get any kind of rest. When we went downstairs to complain about the noice, the first manager Jon just shrugged his shoulders without care. When we asked for a partial refund to leave because of the noise, we were told no. When we asked for another manager, a woman appeared who told us that no compensation would be given because they could not resell the room. When we told her the noise in the room was too loud and that nowhere on the booking site or official hotel website mentioned live music until 11:30pm, she raised her voice to us and told us that noise was to be expected in the rooms. We had paid £133 for rest and that was not going to happen at the Black Bull. After getting screamed at by the female manager, we handed in the key and left the property. The property is grubby and the staff are very rude. The photos on the hotel website need to updated to reflect the current state of the rooms. It was a horrible experience at The Black Bull in Haworth.
