Always a pleasure. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. Learnt so much more through talking to the guides. The great thing here is that this is the fourth time I’ve been and each time I learn something new. 85 percent of the items were from Brontë homes. Some of the clothes on display were used in filming too. Also make sure you wander around and explore Haworth. Branwells replica chair is in the local pub and you can walk to Top Withens and Brontë falls. I was happy that half the volunteers say #SconeAsInGone !! Thoroughly pleasant visit and the items, especially books, were reasonably priced in the book shop! Make sure you talk to the guides, they have a wealth of knowledge.
Mid sized car park that was not overly busy midweek during off season, but likely will get full during peak times. Very convenient for the Brontë parsonage museum and high street. Cost £1.50 per hour and option to use the Ringgo app.
A must for all Brontë fans and a treasure for British heritage. The displays are interesting and informative and I have to give a special mention to the staff who were engaging, knowledgeable and added a great deal to our visit here.
Excellent location close to Bronte museum and at the top of the Main Street with local shops and cafes. Main Street itself is a cobbled uphill street which is a bit awkward to drive up (feels very pedestrian!) so you're best avoiding it and arriving to this place from the top. Car park is cash only, no cards, no contactless, so get your coins ready. It was full by 11am on a rainy day today (Sunday).
Good location for the village as well as the museum, bit pricey if you're there all day but well worth it for the location IMO. Nearby toilets at the museum and public toilets outside the car park as well
