Pretty Dreadfull | Dreadlock Services

So so grateful for Kayla fitting me in for some top notch dreadlock maintenance! I had a sudden cancellation from another loctician a week before my wedding, but thankfully Kayla fit me in to my utter relief. My dreads had not seen any maintenance since i had them installed about 1 year previous, so they needed a fair bit of work, but Kayla sorted them all out perfectly. Nice little studio right on a high street in beautiful Todmorden, right next to the canal for a lunch time break. Very easy conversion and a good laugh throughout. Thanks so much again Kayla! Bit of a life-saver that week!! :D

I have always wanted Dreadlocks but never been confident enough, due to not really understanding how best to care for them and also getting them put in, I was worried I would lose a lot of length. Kayla was amazing, she talked me through everything from start to finish, from how she worked, how long it would take, aftercare and maintenance. She was professional and made me feel really comfortable during my appointment. I now have 10 very neat thin dreads under my normal hair and thanks to Kayla I am very happy that I can successfully maintain them and keep them as neat as when she first done them. She was conscientious when doing them, was happy to take breaks when asked, she was not to rough and i can honestly say it was fun spending the day with her. Thank you Kayla, would highly recommend.

I'm so grateful for Kayla's extraordinary gifts, not just in the physical making of the dreads but the energy work (I feel the power in the dreads she made me) and intuition, she just knew what I needed. I have wanted dreads for years but until I found Kayla I just couldn't make the step, and I literally don't think I could have done this without her. Kayla genuinely cares about you and what she does, she's so passionate about dreadlocks and the dread journey it's just inspiring. I felt safe and held throughout, she just took the fear out of it and made it the best experience ever. Kayla is one amazing and rare soul who is committed to giving people their power, she's is magical. I don't care how gushy/soft/emotional this sounds it's the absolute truth!

She is dedicated to ensuring you have happy healthy locs and is available for any aftercare needs. Kayla creates an pleasant and friendly environment where I felt comfortable and able to discuss anything. I’m so happy I found a great loctician and I will not be letting her go! Cannot recommend her enough!
