I visited this book shop today and it was a pleasure to speak to staff that were so passionate about the books they sell. They had so much knowledge about the books they were selling. I was assisted in selecting a few books for the nursery I work at that were suitable for 2-3 year olds. Keep up the good work and your passion for books.

I can’t express my love I have for this shop. I’ve been in a couple of times once was just after Covid and having experienced an awful time at the shop up the road not letting me in for being mask exempt Diane was so lovely to me. I went back to Haworth from South Shields for a hen do recently and never forgot her kindness. I went in excited about the tiny mice and little items that go with them and she got so excited with me! I love her 🥰 I was explaining about a book I loved I was reading and it explores fantastic topics in days gone by such as sex work and gay relationships (amazing book) and asked since I had nearly finished if she could recommend a great historical fiction book for me… and my goodness that queen did! She gave me spirited and it’s a wonderful book! Her husband is also just as fantastic but I do apologise I didn’t get his name. It is clear Diane and her husband are passionate about their business and everyone feeling included. They support authors and I just adore them. Can’t wait to come back in a couple of weeks and hopefully get a tiny mouse 🤣 don’t hesitate if you’re visiting Haworth to go to this shop it is amazing. ❤️ thank you for being wonderful and inclusive and having the best customer service.

Fabulous little book shop with a great range available. Both of the people (sorry I didn’t get your names!) were happy to chat with 0 pressure and clearly have a passion for books. Well worth a look if you’re visiting Haworth.

Totally understand why this amazing bookstore won the prize as the best in the north as it’s wonderful. It has a wide collection of books and ode to literary giants, it has heartstopper pins and sassy shirts about witchcraft, it has a sapphic section and wide collection of Jane Austen merch. Also if you are a bronte lover a place to go. The owner was lovely and items were decently priced. Would recommend!
