After really looking forward to our visit to Haworth and especially this shop, we were left extremely disappointed by the sheer rudeness and arrogance of the shop owner, we had wondered around the beautiful other shops in Haworth and spoken the the other fantastic shop keepers we had asked our 4 year old daughter to stay just outside with her teenage sister with her chocolate lolly as we didn't want her to accidentally drop or get chocolate on any of the goods, as we were browsing we saw the lady charge outside and asked her, very harshly to move! I understand that maybe she was in the way of others that maybe wanted to get in the shop but she's 4 for goodness sakes, she could of asked her politely to sit on the step at the side of the shop or stand a little further away, it's not rocket science to be able to talk to children respectfully. So if you have a children I would highly recommend NOT going into this store as she clearly doesn't them!
We visited this shop today and was fascinated with the choice and quality of the goods for sale. There was plenty to select from. We bought socks, a rug and place mats. All very different from the usual stores that most people shop at. A shop to be recommended and supported for the local community.
Cute little shop with a wide price range and lots of handmade items. Friendly owner!
