What a great place to visit. We love day trips and this was a one of our favourites. We walked the Main Street and visited some really great shops and walked through the cemetery. There are plenty of places to eat and drink.
After researching the location, I made the decision to test it out over the weekend. We were quite fortunate to have lovely, sunny weather. A short 3- to 4-minute walk from the main street is the parking lot (follow the signs), which costs £4 (you can pay with the app) or exact change. There are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy food or beverages along the busy main street. Look for the restaurant you want to eat at in advance because some of them require reservations for tables. You can go to the church, the Bronte house, which is really great, the park, and we found a steam train. We will definitely come back to explore more!
Quaint village. A few beautiful shops & cafes were open. A lot of places are closed on Monday. A steep hilly terrain to reach from the bottom car park. Glad I visited as it was very quiet and ticked it off my list. The shop keepers and staf in cafes were friendly & very welcoming. Maybe in the summer it may liven up & attract crowds.
Beautiful village in Keighley, lots of boutique shops, parking is limited and it gets very crowded during the weekends
Picturesque Yorkshire village, home of the Brontës, as well as a tourist trap
